Travel the World on Credits

Spend your credits to stay at any home in the global network. 1 credit per night (just 0.5 for a private room). No nightly rates, no hidden fees, and no money ever changes hands.

Prefer a traditional exchange?

Kasero also supports direct mutual swaps. If your travel dates align with a fellow educator, you can arrange a direct home exchange for zero credits.

The Kasero Advantage

A private network protected by our shared professional identity.
No random guests—just trusted colleagues.

Verified Peace of Mind

Every single member is verified using their official school credentials. You aren't handing your keys to a stranger; you are welcoming a vetted professional colleague.

Homes, Not Hotels

Because we share the same lifestyle, we share the same standards. Members treat your space with the exact same care, cleanliness, and respect they give their own homes.

Beyond the Tourist Trail

Skip the generic guidebooks. Your hosts are local expats who eagerly share their neighbourhood secrets, favourite coffee shops, and hidden nature trails.

A Borderless Community

Every stay is an opportunity to expand your network, trade stories from the international teaching circuit, and build lifelong friendships across continents.

Why I Created Kasero

Tom Flanagan, Founder of Kasero

“Years ago, while shopping at my local market in Santiago, Chile, a kind vendor began calling me ‘Casero’ — not tourist, not foreigner, but someone who belonged. ‘Casero’ means homemade, familiar, and welcome; it captures that beautiful feeling of being embraced as family, of finding home in unexpected places.

As international educators, we know this truth deeply: when living overseas, your friends become family. Kasero exists to help us travel more — and to make our stays feel like a home away from home. More casero.

But Kasero only works because we build it together. Every home you list and every colleague you bring in makes this network richer for all of us. Let’s build it together.”
